School Uniform

We encourage all children to wear their school uniform every day. All our children are very well turned out from their homes. It is very impressive to see all in their uniforms.

School uniform consists of:

Boys

Girls

Navy Sweatshirt Navy Sweatshirt
Green Polo Shirt Green Polo Shirt
Navy Trousers Navy Trousers, Skirt or Pinafore

Uniform is on sale at Coalisland Clothing Store, Lineside Fashions and Kathleen's, Lower Annagher.

We ask that children do not wear designer labelled trousers to school. They are much more expen . sive and create additional pressure for all.

Please mark all clothing with names and check that these are still clear from time to time.

As the year goes on we have an increasing collection of coats and other things in the school. All have cost a lot of money and children should take all their things home each day.

Shoes

For safety reasons, we would ask that children do not wear shoes with high platform or heels that make playing, running, P.E., and getting on and off buses potentially dangerous.

On P.E. days children must wear shoes that are safe and suitable for use in the hall. Children in some classes wear plimsolls for P.E. activities and these can be kept in school.

Jewellery

Some types of jewellery are dangerous in school. In particular, hanging earrings and many rings can be dangerous as children play. Earrings should be plain.

Boy's games tend to be much more physical and so, while it is not forbidden for boys to wear earrings , we do ask you to consider very carefully the safety implications of them. Our advice is that boys should not wear earrings to school.

School Crest

We hope to adopt a now school crest during this year. We hope this can go on uniform from next September. Where children still have older sweatshirts that you wish to use, they should, of course, continue to use them next year. We can phase the new sweatshirts in.
